Short version: we keep what we need to send you an order or a letter, and nothing else.

What we collect

Your name, delivery address, email address and order history when you buy something. Your email address alone if you join the list. Nothing else: the site runs no analytics and no tracking.

Why we hold it

To send you what you ordered, to answer you when you write, and to keep the records HMRC requires. The newsletter runs on consent, which you gave by joining and can take back from the link at the bottom of any letter.

Who else sees it

The payment processor, the courier and the email platform, each of them only the part they need to do the job. We do not sell data and we do not pass your address to anyone for marketing.

How long

Order records for six years, because that is the tax requirement. Newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. Enquiries for two years.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the contact address and we will reply within a month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. Your bag is kept in your own browser's storage so it is still there when you come back, which is the only thing we store, and it never leaves your device. Checkout happens on pages run by Shopify, which sets the cookies it needs to take payment and describes them in its own notice. No advertising or analytics cookies are used anywhere.
