A shirt and trousers in soft cotton, block printed by hand with a small flower repeat and finished with white piping at the collar, cuffs and pocket. Cut loose, to sleep in and to spend a slow morning in. The print is put on with carved teak blocks, one colour at a time, so the repeat wanders a little, which is how you know.

- Thirty degrees, inside out, with like colours. Line dry. Iron on the reverse while a little damp. It softens with every wash and is meant to.
How it is made
Bagru and Sanganer sit an hour apart on the Jaipur plain and both print by hand with carved teak blocks. The night suits and jackets are being made now and will appear here as they arrive, photographed as they are.
Hand made, so no two are identical. Small differences in the print, the dye and the finish are a record of the process and not a fault.
